What are you doing this weekend? Hmm? Nothing, you say? Then get yourself down to Brighton for the really rather fabulous loop festival. Taking place in the heart of the city the festival features an inspired mix of live DJ acts, visual artists and special guests.
Headline acts include Fever Ray, Matthew Herbert Big Band and Squarepusher, but we’re also rather frothy at the fanny about the likes of Telepathe, The XX, We Have Band and Fanfarlo (to name but a wee few), who will be gracing Brighton with their rather wonderful presence.
Having been up and running since 2007, Loop has already managed to establish itself as one of Britain’s finest festivals, attracting a surfeit of stellar DJs and top-crumpet bands as well as a cutting-edge digital art programme.
And now, in its third year, it’s bigger, better and balsier than ever. Thus, we strongly urge you to go.
What’s more, tickets are a bargain, with day tickets for Saturday weighing in at 26 squids, and Sunday at a paltry 16 fiddy.
